Job Description Business Performance Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly reporting, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/requiredAnalyze monthly P&L and month-end reports, identify deviation from business plan goalsWork with Finance and team in preparation and management of the department’s budget and financial forecastsParticipate in management meetings to review progress towards achievement of business plan goals and develop the annual business plan related for the department.Sales & Distribution Conduct daily briefing with department on current key activitiesDirect and manage all group, transient, and catering/banquet sales activities to maximize revenue for the hotelSurvey, review and analyze competition, market trends, customer needs and comments in order to be proactive and adapt with business intelligenceDetermine the effectiveness of existing programs and develop new strategiesManage/direct all advertising, public relations and promotional activities in conjunction with corporate marketing and public relations department.Actively participates in sales presentations, property tours and customer meetingsEvaluate changes in guest needs, the guest mix and competitive set, to recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes as necessaryParticipate in community and professional organizations to maintain high visibility and promote a positive imagePlan a minimum of 2 site inspections/entertainment meetings per week to qualified potential accounts or new accountsAttainment of Wedding, Banqueting and Group bedroom revenue goalsPerform monthly review account profile on room nights production and average rateFully responsible of accounts under his/her management , including contracting, updating profile and renewing contractsUp-sell, cross-sell and promote Hotel facilities & services at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenueTeam Management Identify and develop team members with potentialConduct performance review and manages performance issues that arise within the management teamConstantly monitor team members performance, attitude and degree of professionalismWork with Talent & Culture function to ensure appropriate hiring, training, motivating, coaching, counseling and development of team members according to the changing needs of the businessWork Experience Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable hospitality school /campusMinimum 5 years of Sales management experience or at least 3 years of experience in a similar capacity at 4 International Hotels with proven recordsHigh degree of professionalism with strong understanding of global markets and business acumen.Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English languageProficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPointAttention to detail in quality and guest-orientedFlexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively, open mindedExcellent organizational, time management skills and a great team workWell-presented and professionally groomed at all timesBenefits Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwideLearning programs through our Academies and the opportunity to earn qualifications while you work Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the worldAbility to make a difference in the local community through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21
